New blog!

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know that I'll be shutting down this blog very soon, and working on a new one! I realized that there was another blog called Fabulous in First, and it just seemed a little confusing. So I decided to change it up and start a new one! I'm very excited about it, and I hope you'll join me over there! I've been working on lots of projects and centers, so I hope you'll check it out!

Awesome Adjectives!

School is almost over! Yay! We just have 2 1/2 more days until sweet, sweet summertime! Can't wait! Anyway, here is an adjective activity that I did with my kiddos a few weeks ago as a review. Each child had a list of adjectives. We discussed what the words meant, and how they could describe us. Then they picked out the words that they thought described them the best, drew themselves, and wa-la! The kids loved doing them and I think they're pretty darn cute! I got the idea from the ladies as Lesson Plan SOS!

Unmotivated at the moment...

Sorry I haven't posted anything! I have been feeling a little unmotivated lately, and thinking that I'll probably have to put this blog on hold for a little while! I just haven't had much energy to do much lately. I think I'm ready for summer. But anyway, check back soon! I think I'll really be able to do more with this blog once the new school year begins. In the meantime, I'm going to search for new ideas, work on my Mommy blog, and get ready for summer!!! Woohoo!

Wild Child.. well children!

I know it's been a while since I've posted. My life has been pretty crazy lately! I never knew how difficult it would be to get my classroom running the way it was before I left. My kiddos developed some interesting habits while I was away, and its been very hard to break them! My first week back went well. It was hard leaving Landon, but once I got to school, I stayed VERY busy! There was a lot of end of the year testing and assessing to do. I've been busy busy busy! Hopefully I'll be able to post some fun things soon! Right now I'm just focusing on getting back into a routine. Only five weeks left of school. It's so hard to believe!!!!

Hi-ho Hi-ho It's off to work I go...

So I've decided to start a blog! After looking at so many amazing ideas from other teacher's blogs, I thought that it might be fun to get in on the action and start one of my own! I've been on maternity leave for the past 12 weeks taking care of my sweet baby boy Landon. I'm a little nervous about taking this big step... leaving my baby boy and heading back to the crazy world of first grade. I'm apprehensive but excited to get back into things. Wish me luck, and let the adventures begin!
